Nine days on the San Francisco waterfront

San Francisco Fleet Week 2026 runs October 4 to October 12. The San Francisco Fleet Week Association publishes the run as 4-12 October, 2026. The programme covers piers, plazas, parks and churches across the city. A group planner books this event through four published channels: a charter bus, a parking reservation, two named hotel partners, and the free admission floor.

The association publishes no room block

The Where to Stay page names two properties. The Axiom Hotel sits at Union Square, steps from the SoMa district downtown. The page carries the hotel's own description and one instruction for Fleet Week attendees. The association states the Axiom offers a special discount and links a booking control beside the instruction.

That booking link carries a promo parameter set to GOV. The same link carries a hotel identifier of 66053.

Hotel Caza sits between Fisherman's Wharf, North Beach and the Embarcadero. The page links the hotel's own website.

The association publishes no room count, no rate, no group code and no reservation deadline. It publishes no attrition term, no deposit schedule and no block contact either. A coordinator who wants a held allocation builds the terms with the property directly.

One published group transport

The Transportation page carries a single instruction for groups. The association asks visitors to consider public transport first. It then states that a group travelling to Fleet Week with a large party should consider booking a San Francisco charter bus with CharterUP. The page links CharterUP rental pages for San Francisco, San Jose and Santa Rosa, and describes nationwide coverage.

The association publishes no official Fleet Week shuttle. No stop list, no route, no headway and no departure window appear on the site. The transit channel is a link to 511.org, the regional service the site files under Transit.

Parking is a reservation app

The Parking page routes drivers to SpotHero. The association describes SpotHero as the nation's leading parking reservation app and points visitors to a San Francisco Fleet Week SpotHero parking page. The page publishes no lot list, no space count and no event rate.

A group arrival plan therefore rests on two advance bookings the association names. The bus comes from CharterUP. The spaces come from SpotHero.

The admission floor is free and first come

Three programme elements carry published terms a group can plan around.

Ship tours are free. The visiting fleet docks at Piers 27 and 35 from Wednesday, October 7 to Monday, October 12. Wednesday runs 10am to 1pm at Pier 27. Thursday, Saturday and Sunday run 10am to 4pm at Piers 27 and 35. Monday runs 9am to noon at Pier 35. No ship tour runs on Friday. Lines are first come, first served. The association publishes no advance ticket, no group window and no timed entry for a tour.

The visiting ships the association names are USS Ashland (LSD 48), USS Cape St. George (CG 71), USCGC Munro (WMSL 755), USCGC Benjamin Bottoms (WPC-1132) and USCGC George Cobb (WLM 564).

The Air Show flies Friday, October 9, Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11. Each day runs noon to 4pm between the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Marina Green holds the festival centre. General admission is free. The association sells an Air Show Network VIP Experience and routes tickets through an AttendStar page. The line-up lists the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the United 777 and the U.S.A.F. F-22 Raptor Demo Team.

The Parade of Ships runs Friday, October 9 from 11am to noon along the waterfront. Admission is free. The association calls it the largest Parade of Ships on the West Coast. The procession is visible from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Bay Bridge, and the reviewing stand sits at Marina Green.

Fleet Fest at Fisherman's Wharf runs Saturday, October 10 from 10am to 7pm and Sunday, October 11 from 10am to 5pm. The Service and Safety Expo presented by PG&E shares those hours at Pier 27. The Fleet Fest line-up lists live music, food, a beer garden, a car show and family activities.

The rules that shape a group movement

The Ship Tour Code of Conduct sets the access terms. Every visitor over 18 carries a valid government-issued photo ID. Visitors 17 and under stay with an adult. Bags stay within 12 by 6 by 12 inches, and clutches within 5 by 7. No holding area exists for bags, strollers or scooters. Food, drink, coolers, pets and glass are barred from the pier. Open-toe shoes and high heels are barred from the ship. Visitors stay with the tour guide and keep to the tour route. All bags are searched before entry. The association warns that ship access includes steep ladders and uneven surfaces, and it provides an alternative experience on the pier.

What a group can put in writing

Four items carry published terms. The charter bus carries a named vendor. The parking carries a named reservation platform. The hotel side carries two named properties. The programme carries published dates and hours.

The association lists four addresses for the questions it leaves open. General inquiries go to admin@fleetweeksf.org. Sponsorship inquiries go to sponsorship@fleetweeksf.org. Media inquiries go to PAO@fleetweeksf.org. Volunteer inquiries go to volunteers@fleetweeksf.org. Air Show sponsorship, exhibitor and corporate chalet questions go to info@airshownetwork.com, the network the association names as the Air Show producer.

The postal address reads San Francisco Fleet Week Association, P.O. Box 460880, San Francisco, CA 94114.

The association states Fleet Week began in 1981 and generates more than $10 million in annual tax revenue and over $200 million in overall economic benefit.

A group moving on these nine days builds the room side at the property and the movement side on the two published bookings.
