A Per-Room Programme
TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 runs October 13 to October 15 at Moscone West, 800 Howard Street, San Francisco. The organiser publishes more than 10,000 attendees. The lodging offer is a per-room attendee rate programme, and the organiser publishes no group code for it.
A group coordinator who is used to calling a housing bureau for forty rooms has nothing to call. The discount attaches to a room. A coordinator can still contract around it.
What The Organiser Publishes
The hotel page states the terms. TechCrunch has secured exclusive first-come, first-served rates at a range of premium hotels within walking distance of Moscone West. The published attendee perks are a rate below the official hotel and travel site pricing, free cancellation and modification, no upfront cost, and loyalty points that still accrue.
The hotel page lists four properties with a published distance to the venue. Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA sits 0.2 miles out. Hotel Zelos San Francisco and InterContinental San Francisco both sit 0.3 miles out. Grand Hyatt San Francisco sits 0.5 miles out. The rate claim is the organiser's own and unaudited.
The FAQ page fixes the channel. An attendee must book through the reservations partner to receive the discounted rate. The rates apply only to the properties listed on the partner page, and they are available while rooms last. Booking help comes from 38 North Connections, the official housing provider, at TechCrunch@38NConnections.com, with a published reply window of 24 hours.
Four Properties, One Booking Page
The four Book Hotel controls on the hotel page all resolve to a single attendee URL on the partner platform. One page carries the whole offer. A coordinator who wants to compare two properties works from one funnel, and the property answers to a programme.
The Online Room Block Has Closed
The partner page carries a live notice today. Online Hotel Room Block is closed for TechCrunch Disrupt 2026. Reservations and modifications can still be made, and the page routes them through the hotels directly.
The page names a reservation contact for InterContinental San Francisco, Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA, Grand Hyatt San Francisco, Hotel Zetta and Hotel Zelos, YOTEL San Francisco, and Timbri Hotel San Francisco, Curio Collection by Hilton. The hotel page names four. The longer list is the live one.
The instruction to the attendee is specific. Say that you are a Disrupt attendee and give the reservation confirmation number, so the property can pull the record quickly.
Deposit And Guarantee Terms
The partner page publishes the payment terms. No deposit is required at the time of booking. A credit card is required to guarantee the room, and the card is not charged when the reservation is made. The chosen hotel may charge a deposit equal to one night's room and tax on or around September 18, 2026.
The page adds one protective line for any delegate. You will never be asked to prepay or send a deposit to anyone other than your selected hotel.
Where A Group Still Has Leverage
Registration carries its own group ladder. Groups of four to nine take 15 percent off, bookable on the ticket site for Attendee, Investor, Non-Profit and Student passes. Groups of ten and up take 30 percent off any pass type, arranged by emailing events@techcrunch.com for a personalised discount code and a booking link, with a published reply inside one business day.
The ladder has edges. The 15 percent bundle covers four pass types and leaves Founder and Expo+ at full price. Every pass in the order must be the same type, the whole group must be booked in one session under one order, and the discount cannot be combined with another promotion.
Early-bird pass prices run from $299 for Expo+ and $349 for Student up to $999 for Founder and $1,099 for Investor, with standard prices higher. Prices rise at the door on October 13. Ticket refunds closed on July 31, 2026, and badge names are locked to a government photo ID once the badge is printed.
Registration discounts the group. Lodging runs per room at a rate that is first-come and while rooms last.
What To Put To The Property In Writing
Five questions carry the brief. Ask the rate the property applies to a ten-room attendee booking, and ask whether it will contract that group under one agreement when the programme is built per room. Ask when the attendee inventory for October 13 to October 15 is expected to run out. Ask whether the September 18 deposit date can move for a group that confirms late. Ask for the cut-off, the rooming list deadline, the name change fee and the attrition terms for a group booking.
Then ask for a late checkout on October 15, the closing day. A coordinator who books ten rooms on the attendee page should also ask the property to link the reservations, keep one confirmation list, and put the request in writing before the deposit date lands.
