The Ford Indianapolis Boat, Sport & Travel Show publishes no room block. The lodging page names five host hotels, two booking codes and a rate band on each property.
The 2027 show runs February 19 to February 21 and February 24 to February 28 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, 1202 E. 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46205.
What the Lodging Page Gives a Group
The page states that the hotels listed there are the only official host hotels for the event. It states that other resellers are not endorsed by the show and have no affiliation with it.
Five properties carry a published rate band and a booking code.
Best Western Fishers Indianapolis, 9790 N. by NE Blvd., Fishers, IN 46037, on (317) 578-2000, prices $89 plus tax for a king room and $99 plus tax for two queens. Book under the name "Indy Boat Show".
Homewood Suites Indianapolis NW, 4140 W. 94th St., Indianapolis, IN 46268, on (317) 870-7660, prices $119 plus tax for a king suite and $124 plus tax for a two-queen suite. Book under "Indy Boat Show".
SpringHill Suites Indianapolis Fishers, 9698 Hague Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46256, on 317-841-0416, prices $99 plus tax for a king suite and $104 plus tax for a two-queen suite. Book under "Indy Sport Show".
Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Fishers, 9785 North by Northeast Blvd., Fishers, IN 46037, on 317-577-5900, prices $126 plus tax for a king and $136 plus tax for two queens. Book under "Indy Sport Show".
Home2 Suites Indianapolis Keystone Crossing, 9104 Keystone Crossing, Indianapolis, IN 46240, on 317-843-0064, prices $99 plus tax for a king suite and $104 plus tax for a two-queen suite. Book under "Indy Sport Show".
Three properties answer to "Indy Sport Show" and two to "Indy Boat Show". A group that quotes the wrong code gets the published rate. Test the code at the desk before the group roster goes out.
Each property publishes a rate guarantee cut-off. Each date reads 2026: January 30 for the Best Western, February 1 for the Homewood Suites and the SpringHill Suites, February 3 for the Hilton Garden Inn and the Home2 Suites. Those dates belong to the previous edition. Ask each property for the 2027 guarantee date before the group quotes a rate.
The Two Closed Days Split the Hold
The show runs eight operating days inside a ten-day span. Monday, February 22 and Tuesday, February 23 are closed.
One continuous hold from Friday, February 19 to Sunday, February 28 books nine nights. Two of those nights fall on days the show does not open.
A two-piece hold books eight nights. The first piece runs Friday, February 19 through Sunday, February 21, with checkout on Monday, February 22. The second piece runs Wednesday, February 24 through Sunday, February 28, with checkout on Monday, March 1.
Ask the property to contract both pieces under one agreement. Two separate reservations on the same group name risk a release on the second piece while the first is running.
The two-piece hold books eight nights of rooms. One continuous hold books nine. On a 20-room block the difference is 20 room nights. Ask the property to price both shapes.
Wednesday and Thursday open at 12:00 p.m. and close at 7:00 p.m. Friday closes at 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday open at 10:00 a.m. A group arriving on the morning of Wednesday, February 24 waits for the doors.
The Group Ticket Floor
The show publishes a group ticket programme. Fifteen tickets is the minimum order, and the page states that orders below 15 are not processed. Group pricing is $13 for an adult aged 13 and above and $10 for a child aged 6 to 12. The page labels both figures 2026 pricing.
Candice Geyer takes group orders on 765-400-5006. The general show line is (765) 641-7712.
Fifteen tickets at $13 each is $195. Pair the ticket order with the room request and ask the show whether a ticket block carries weight on the room rate.
Ask what the 2027 group rate will be and when the show publishes it. The $13 figure carries the 2026 label on the page, so a group budgeting off it works from an unpublished number.
Box office admission is $16 for an adult, $10 for a child aged 6 to 12, and free for children 5 and under. A two-day ticket costs $26 and allows one scan per day.
The Campground on Site
The State Fairgrounds Campground sits at 1202 E 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46205, with 50 sites and 24-hour security.
The published rate is $45.00 per night plus 7 percent sales tax, with a $2.50 booking fee per site and a $5 dump station. Nine nights at that rate is $405 before tax.
The page states that full hook-ups run only during the fall show. February carries electrical hook-up only, because water and sewer are shut off for the winter. Reservations are required. There are no pull-through spots. Security unlocks the electrical box on arrival, on 317-927-7520.
An electrical-only site changes the equipment list for a February group. Confirm the connection before arrival.
The Terms the Proposal Has to Set
The lodging page publishes rate bands and guarantee dates and stops there. No allotment, no cut-off date, no release clause and no attrition term appear for this show.
Four terms belong in the request for proposal. The number of rooms held. The release date on unreserved rooms. The two-night minimum the property wants to attach. The cancellation ladder for both block pieces.
The shuttle runs on Saturday and Sunday only. A group staying at a Fishers property on Wednesday, February 24 needs its own transport to the fairgrounds.
Pets are not allowed in the event.
