The Indianapolis 8 Hour runs October 9 to 11, 2026 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, 4790 West 16th Street. The event is round five of the Intercontinental GT Challenge. The eight-hour race runs on Saturday, October 10.
Five group terms are published. The rest need a question before a group commits to tickets or rooms.
Twenty Tickets Buy Unnamed Benefits
The Premium & Group Sales page sets one threshold. It reads, "Each member of your group will enjoy special benefits when you purchase 20 or more tickets." The page names no benefit.
Orders reach the sales desk at sales@brickyard.com. The event FAQ states that IMS cannot accept orders by fax or email.
The Window Now Running
Ticket prices move in four windows. The columns are October 28 to April 30, May 1 to July 30, July 31 to September 21, and September 22 to October 11. The fourth column is the live one on 23 September 2026.
Three-day general admission runs $85. Saturday admission runs $40 to $45. Sunday runs $30. Friday runs $20. Twenty three-day tickets come to $1,700.
The Paddock Plus add-on runs $90 for three days, $50 on Saturday, $45 on Sunday and $45 on Friday. The pass carries no gate admission and no pit lane access. Every person needs one, at any age. Passes are collected on site during the weekend.
Two bounds apply to the table. IMS states that prices are subject to change, and that no reserved seats are sold all weekend. General admission covers the grounds, the viewing mounds and the designated grandstands. Children 15 and under enter free with a paid adult general admission ticket.
Three Day Clocks
The venue's schedule pages publish gates 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. Outside parking lots open at 7 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 8 a.m. on Sunday. Sunday's support races close at 2:25 p.m.
The pages carry a subject-to-change line and a note that the grid shown belongs to the last published event. The sanctioning body's provisional schedule, revised 31 July 2026, times the eight-hour race from 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. eastern on Saturday.
Suites and a Date to Confirm
The suite table lists two packages. A 25-person package costs $5,000 plus tax. A 50-person package costs $7,500 plus tax.
The suite copy states that rentals include access during gate hours, October 16 to 18. Those dates fall outside the race weekend. Ask the sales desk to confirm the dates in writing before a deposit.
Parking Admits One Vehicle Per Pass
Four parking rules are published. Each pass admits one vehicle. A pass without a vehicle takes no space on site. Every vehicle must fit inside a 10-foot by 20-foot space. No buses and no box trucks, even when they fit.
Paid parking and ADA parking sit at Lot 2, a grass lot on Georgetown Road across from Gate 6. The price is $10 a day, or $25 for a three-day pass. The Saturday tab carries a leftover line about free parking for the INDYCAR Harvest GP on Thursday, October 1. Price the weekend from the Lot 2 line.
Camping Sits off Site
Paid RV and pull-behind camping sits at American Legion Post 500. Paid overnight tent camping sits at the same address. The venue lists both prices as varying.
No Room Block on Any Page
The event FAQ carries one accommodation line. It routes readers to Visit Indy on 1-800-556-INDY.
The event pages carry no room block, no group room rate and no minimum-stay term for October 9 to 11. The room commitment is a separate negotiation with its own cancellation ladder. Send the room request with the group size and the night count, or run the figures on the group rate calculator first. The Indianapolis directory lists 273 properties as of 23 September 2026. How the request works.
Five Terms to Get in Writing
Ask what the benefits are at 20 tickets or more. Ask whether a parking pass covers one day or all three. Ask for the correct gate-hour dates on a suite rental. Ask who holds rooms and at what cutoff.
Add the delivery term. All tickets and parking are digital, and they arrive by email closer to the event weekend at the address used at purchase. The ticket office answers at 317-492-6700, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. eastern. ADA seating, parking and tickets come through the same office or ada@brickyard.com.
