A Single Day On One Moscone Floor

The Non-Profit Housing Association of Northern California holds its 47th Annual Affordable Housing Conference on September 24, 2026 at Moscone Center in San Francisco. The organiser publishes a 1,200-delegate day. More than 1,200 housing leaders, developers, lenders, public agencies, policymakers and advocates convene for a full day of workshops and networking. The conference page states that doors open at 8AM and that the programme ends at 5:30PM.

The published schedule fills that window. Registration opens at 8am. Workshop Session I runs 9:15 to 10:30am. The Keynote Plenary runs 10:30am to 12:30pm. Lunch runs 12:30 to 1:30pm. Workshop Session II runs 1:30 to 2:45pm. An afternoon break runs 2:45 to 3:15pm. Workshop Session III runs 3:15 to 4:30pm. The Networking Reception closes the day from 4:30 to 5:30pm.

The source event page now states that the event has passed, and the conference page states that registration is closed. The block mechanics below are the published terms of the 2026 edition.

September 24, 2026 is a Thursday. A delegate who checks in on the Wednesday holds the night of September 23. A delegate who checks in on the Thursday holds the night of September 24. An 8am registration desk makes that a real choice rather than a formality.

Who The Rooms Have To Hold

The sponsor packet prints the delegate mix. Developers are 35 percent of the room. Lenders and investors are 15 percent. Public agencies are 15 percent. Policy and advocacy are 10 percent. Construction and contracting are 8 percent. Architecture and engineering are 7 percent. The remaining 10 percent sits in other categories.

Those shares describe who the block serves. The room type, the arrival day and the length of stay are separate terms. Ask the hotel which room types the property holds in quantity, and which of them can be released inside a short window.

The conference runs at one venue, so the whole block walks to the same door on the same morning. Registration opens at 8am, an hour before the first session. Ask what the property charges for an early check-in, and whether the fee is waived for a room-only block.

The Sponsor Ladder Bundles The Tickets

The sponsor packet sets a ticket count at every level. A Legacy Leadership Partner at $50,000 receives 12 conference tickets. A Movement Partner at $35,000 receives 10. An Underwriter at $20,000 receives 8. A Community Builder at $10,000 receives 6. A Benefactor at $5,000 receives 4. A Sustainer at $3,500 receives 3. A Donor at $2,000 receives 2. A Supporter at $1,000 receives 1. A Presenting Sponsor tier sits above the ladder, and its price is carried on request.

The packet also prints a tax note. Contributions are tax-deductible as allowable by law, less $400 per free or purchased pass. NPH is a 501(c)(3) organisation, number 94-2741597.

The packet marks an exhibitor booth as available at six of the eight sponsor levels, with an August 10 deadline. Priority placements go to sponsors at $10,000 and above, and the packet notes that limited tables are available at each qualifying level. A sponsor that takes a table brings a crew that exists in no ticket count.

Two Dates Move The Rooming List

The packet dates every deliverable. Tickets run until sold out, with a September 10 deadline at each tier. Website listing and guest-list access both carry a September 18 deadline. Guest-list access is a name and employer listing only.

September 10 is 14 days before the conference. September 18 is 6 days before it. A sponsor at the 12-ticket level commits its headcount on September 10. The names and employers behind that headcount can arrive on September 18 at the earliest.

A block built around sponsor-bundled passes therefore runs on two clocks. The room count is firm on September 10. The roster is firm on September 18. Six days separate that roster from arrival, and those six days are the window in which a coordinator converts a provisional hold into a named list.

The same September 10 deadline covers on-site conference recognition, stage acknowledgment, email acknowledgment and social media acknowledgment. The website listing closes September 18. Speaking opportunities close August 10. Conference bag inclusion closed June 26.

Exhibitor booth placement carries the August 10 deadline as well. A sponsor that takes a table settles its crew 45 days before the conference, and that crew needs beds on the Wednesday or the Thursday.

What A One-Night Block Needs Priced

Ask the hotel to price the one-night hold against those dates. Ask for the September 23 rate beside the September 24 rate, so the coordinator can weigh an early arrival against an early check-in on the Thursday.

Ask how a provisional hold sized on a September 10 ticket count is released against a September 18 roster. Ask for the rooming-list deadline that travels with it. Ask for the name-change fee and the release date. Ask whether the hold can be released in two stages on those two dates.

Ask for the attrition percentage and the penalty formula. Ask for the deposit amount and the date it falls due. Ask for the nightly rate on both nights, and for late checkout on the Friday. Ask for the day-use rate for a delegate who flies in and out inside the conference day.

The 2026 pass page and the sponsor packet are the two documents that carry these deadlines, and both sit on the organiser's own site. The city side is covered too. The groupRooms.org San Francisco directory lists 562 hotels as of October 6, 2026, so the block has a primary property and a fallback inside the city.

The organiser publishes no block terms, no cut-off date, no rate and no attrition figure for this conference. Those four items come from the hotel, and the two September dates are what the hotel has to work against.
