Two calendars, one room block
The Indiana Safety and Health Conference & Expo runs at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. The venue listing dates the event February 7 to February 10, 2027 and puts forecast attendance at 850. The organiser dates the conference itself February 8 to 10, 2027. The Indiana Chamber of Commerce runs the event with the Central Indiana chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals. INSafe and the Coalition for Construction Safety partner on the programme.
A Sunday, February 7 arrival through a Wednesday, February 10 release is three nights. A Monday, February 8 arrival is two nights. Ask the organiser which arrival the room block prices.
One hotel and one block link
The organiser names a single property for 2027. The Hyatt Regency Indianapolis at One S Capitol Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46204 is the official hotel. One link on the organiser's hotel page opens the block, and that link runs on the Hyatt group-booking path under the code G-ICSC.
The hotel page dates the conference rate. Online reservations inside the block close on January 15. The page states that the hotel connects to the convention center by skywalk. It states that parking is not validated at any location, the Hyatt included. It states that the organiser works with no outside travel agency. Those sentences are the whole of the published housing terms.

The registration ladder that decides the room count
The organiser publishes a discount that starts at three attendees from one company. Three to five attendees take 20 percent off. Six to ten take 25 percent. Eleven or more take 30 percent. The discounts apply to new orders only, do not combine with other offers, and exclude the February 8 workshops, the Expo and student registrations.
A second ladder covers VPP and INSharp site employees. One or two attendees take 20 percent. Three to ten take 25 percent. Eleven or more take 30 percent. That route runs by phone and email.
Registration splits by date. Early-bird pricing ends January 15 and full pricing begins January 16. Full conference moves from $599 to $699. Two-day registration moves from $499 to $599. One-day registration moves from $399 to $499. The February 8 workshops move from $299 to $399. Expo-only registration for February 9 sits at $129 on both sides of the step.
The room block closes on the same date as the first price step. A company that books its rooms on January 16 pays the higher registration price and has lost the conference rate. Put both dates on one line of the request so the hotel sees the deadline the group works to.
What the block has to carry across three nights
The discount ladder moves rooms in threes. A company claiming the first tier registers three attendees. A company claiming the third tier registers eleven or more. Ask the hotel for the drop pattern it applies when one company releases a room mid-hold.
The Governor's Workplace Safety Awards luncheon runs February 10 from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. at the convention center. The organiser includes the luncheon with every February 10 registration. Outside that day, a table of ten costs $899 and a single ticket $99. A table bought by one employer is the last group movement before the block releases.
Deadlines the organiser does publish
Cancellations taken two weeks before the conference draw a full refund. Later cancellations draw no cash refund. The organiser asks for substitutions in advance. A Marion County snow emergency cancels or postpones the event, and the organiser refunds the registration or moves it to a new date. Firearms and other lethal weapons are prohibited at the conference.
The hotel page publishes no housing deadline other than January 15 and no attrition clause. Ask the hotel for the attrition basis on a three-night hold, the date unused rooms return to inventory, and the deposit schedule behind the rate.
Questions to put to the hotel in writing
Ask the Hyatt to price Sunday February 7 to Wednesday February 10 and Monday February 8 to Wednesday February 10 side by side, and to quote the cut-off for each shape. Ask how the hotel treats the February 7 night against the three that follow. Ask for the room types behind the block rate and the number of rooms the property will hold at peak. Ask for the written attrition basis and the release date.
Ask the organiser which arrival the block is built on and what the February 8 workshops ask of the room count. Ask the Chamber whether the group registration discount and the room block carry the same deadline.
Downtown Indianapolis holds 7,100 hotel rooms. The convention center states that 4,700 of them connect to the building by skywalk, and that more than half of downtown's rooms sit within blocks of it. Ask the hotel what it will do with the rooms if the group releases them.
